General oversight of all risks and objectives, verifying that everything has been done.
❖ Understanding: What is your company and its type? You need not refill everything each time; update only if new information arises.
❖ Design: Review the SQM itself.
❖ Report: Lists anything not yet monitored; this list must be empty. You clear it via
Monitoring activities, expanding each item to see how many times you must monitor it (e.g. how often to review complaints).
Monitoring activities: Everything must be linked (objectives, risks, etc.). As you link items, entries in the “Not Monitored” report decrease and eventually vanish.
Work programs: Manually created checklists (e.g. which activities to monitor this month or quarter).
Click the pencil to execute; record your findings.
If you note an issue, select the person from whom you need more information. They receive an email notification and will see it under Findings in their Operate view.
Findings: In the findings, you will be asked whether it constitutes a deficiency.
A deficiency is a shortcoming. It is more than just a finding; if you answer “Yes,” it is considered an issue.
Remedial actions: If further action is required:
❖ Root cause: The main cause
❖ Remedial action: The solution (e.g. automatic reminders)
For example, the title could be: Deficiencies related to complaints. Root cause: matters are being forgotten. Remedial action: implement an improvement, such as automatic reminders.
Reports: A complete summary of your monitoring activities.
