FID-Manager

WinAcc can automatically retrieve customer data from your CRM software. The data is automatically transferred from FID-Manager to Caseware in the background.

The following data will come from FID Manager::

  • Company name
  • Address
  • Date of general meeting
  • Directors
  • Shareholders
  • Commissioners

Does data need to be modified? Then in most cases you can simply modify them in FID-Manager. Caseware takes over the data.

IInstallation (one-time)

Request your login codes from FID-Manager.

Send an email to info@fid-manager.com asking to activate the link to Caseware. Do you have multiple user accounts for FID-Manager? If so, make sure your administrator makes the request.

Activating the link in WinAcc

1. In the dashboard, click on settings and go to office settings

2. Click on login as admin and log in with the password pragmaparam

3. Enter your FID-Manager parameters

Refer to the email you received from FID-Manager with the login codes and fill in the information:

  • Company: List only the name of your company, not the full url
Example: https://caseware.fid-manager.be/nl becomes caseware (same spelling as in the url)
  • Username: username that appears in the mail from FID-Manager
  • Password: password that is in the mail from FID-Manager

Working method within WinAcc

1. Existing Engagement

  • Is your company number filled in? Then the file data will be updated when your file is opened.
  • Do you make an adjustment in FID-Manager when your Caseware file is open? Then it is best to restart your Caseware file.
  • Switching between tab “Home” and “Permanent data” will also update everything.

Keep in mind that an update may take a while.

2. New Engagement/ An Engagement That has not yet been synced with FID-Manager

    • In the dashboard, go to Permanent Data

    • Fill in the company number

Important note on existing WinAcc files

    1. When importing the Central Relationships (needed for directors, shareholders and also commissioners) your current relationships are not deleted. So you can check if all relations are in AdminPulse.

In the central relationships, you can see which relationships were added manually. WinAcc also checks for duplicate relationships among them. New icons appear:

    2. FID-Manager does not distinguish between first and last names. As a result, these enter together in the Family Name field. The First Name field is left blank. You have to modify these relationships manually.

We recommend that you check the central relationships after the import.
