In MyAcerta, the social balance sheet can be downloaded in XML format. WinAcc can then read this file directly into the financial statements.
The XML files can optionally be kept centralized(*) or read individually(**). When importing, our software checks whether the company number and fiscal year of the XML file correspond to the WinAcc file.
(*) Centralized = central folder on your computer or server where you store all the XML files of all your files. Seems to us to be the most appropriate method.
(**) Individual: do you have an XML file on USB stick or the like? Then you can still upload the file without having to copy it to a central location first.
Activating the link in WinAcc
The centralized import must be set once. For the individual import, you do not need to set anything.
1.In the dashboard, click on settings and go to office settings
2. Click on login as admin and log in with the password pragmaparam
3. Scroll through to the financial statements section and select the appropriate path (path to the social balance xml files)
Usage in WinAcc
1. Download the XML file from on website social secretariat to your PC or central folder
(see Acerta manual)
2. In WinAcc, go to the appropriate file and open the 'financial statements NBB' from the dashboard
3. Click Social Balance and then Import XML:
4. From here there are two options:
A. You use the central storage location: WinAcc looks up the correct file based on the company number and fiscal year. All rosters are completed in the financial statements, except for personnel costs.
B. You are not using a central storage location: you will first get an error message that WinAcc cannot automatically read the file ('no valid XML found'). Click this away. Next, an explorer screen will open. Through that screen, browse to the location where you saved the XML file.
